wolff white syndrome :: Article Creator Stopping The Bias Snowball, Before It Kills Your Patient I arrived on scene perhaps ten minutes behind the first-in crew and the shift supervisor. Both the crew paramedic and the supervisor were knowledgeable, experienced providers. A school nurse was there as well, providing background info on our patient; a 16-year-old student with a history of asthma in severe distress. Our patient was in bad shape. The researchers found that 54.5 percent of patients received CAD testing, and after a median of 1.8 years, the testing group had a reduced risk for heart f...

Ravi Savarirayan, M.D., from the Royal Children's Hospital at the University of Melbourne in Australia, and colleagues conducted a double-blind, randomized phase 2 trial in 16 hospitals across Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States to examine the safety and efficacy of vosoritide in children younger than 60 months with a clinical diagnosis of achondroplasia confirmed by genetic testing. Participants were enrolled into three cohorts based on age at screening: 24 to 59 months, 6 to 23 months, and 0 to 5 months (cohorts 1,...
