Millennium Physicians holds grand opening for Cypress location - Houston Chronicle
Millennium Physicians' location in northwest Houston has been accessible for more than a year. But due to the pandemic, the medical group was unable to hold an event celebrating their new space with the community — until now.
Millennium Physicians held the grand opening for their Cypress location on March 1, at Memorial Hermann Cypress.
"We are excited to bring Millennium Physicians to the Cypress community, offering the highest quality of care to our patients close to home," President and CEO of Millennium Physicians Dr. Samer Suki said in a statement.
Millennium Physicians, a medical group offering multiple types of specialty care, has more than 50 providers and 11 mid-levels in over 20 locations across greater Houston.
Cypress is the latest addition joining Atascocita, Bellaire, Cleveland, Conroe, Huntsville, Kingwood, New Caney, North Houston, Shenandoah, and The Woodlands.
The 6,339-square-foot Cypress clinic is located in the Memorial Hermann medical building at 27700 Northwest Fwy. Ste 580.
The site has been open since October of 2020, but Marketing Director Alyssa Cassard said the grand opening was delayed due to the pandemic.
Millennium Physicians was joined by the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting, along with referring doctors from Memorial Hermann and St. Luke's Vintage and other Cypress area physicians, Cassard said. Representatives from the offices of Senator Ted Cruz, Congressman Dan Crenshaw and Congressman Michael McCaul were also present.
"We were so pleased with the turnout of the Grand Opening for our Cypress location," Cassard said in a statement.
According to the Millennium Physicians website, the medical group offers comprehensive health care services and advanced treatment options with its onsite pharmacy, radiation and diagnostic services.
Overall, Millennium Physicians offers several services such as aesthetics, breast surgical oncology, diagnostic services, family practice, general surgery, internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, pharmacy, radiation oncology and pulmonary and sleep medicine.
The Cypress clinic holds patient rooms, an infusion room and has five providers including Medical Oncologists and Hematologists Dr. David Hodges, Dr. Urmeel Patel, and Dr. Charles Yen, Breast Surgical Oncologist Dr. Amani Jambhekar and Rheumatologist Dr. Mohammad Ursani.
"We are very proud of our new center of excellence in cancer treatment, breast surgical oncology, and rheumatology," Suki said.
